My mother-in-law is 77 years young and has Parkinson's and is looking for a shopping, out-for-lunch, browsing Home Depot flowers buddy. She is cognitively intact, doesn't need any personal care, walks with a walker. She is an independent lady who is grieving the fact that she doesn't have so much independence anymore, and having a buddy to do things she used to love with gives her husband a break.
She is a joy to be around, flexible, down to do anything, and just wants a wonderful companion to go to department store with, grocery shopping, nails, try new restaurants, make pies, etc.
The job can be very flexible, ideally 2-3 days a week for 4-6 hours. Ideally you can help prepare dinner with her before you leave or occasionally fold a load of laundry, but no cleaning/housekeeping is required.
She is excited to meet a new friend!
