About who needs care: *1) Needs assistance with transferring in/out bed, on/off toilet, on/off recliner and being pushed in wheelchair (125 lbs) 2) Needs meds/food/drinks brought to her throughout the day 3) Early dementia but usually only gets confused but nothing too bad. 4) Hard of hearing so needs hearing aids put in and then throughout the day when they fall out 5) Mostly blind in R eye and L eye isn't very good. **Not many hobbies anymore since she has hard time hearing and seeing. ***From bed to toilet to kitchen chair to living room recliner. About the care needs: Personality would need to be a kind and patient person. Someone who does NOT feel the need to talk all the time. My mother wakes up in a good mood and doesn't ask for a lot, so someone with an attitude, impatient or lacks compassion would NOT be a good fit. A practicing Christian would be beneficial. My mother has a very bad R knee which is why she needs help transferring everywhere so you will need to be physically able to help her stand and shuffle to/from bed/toilet/chairs. She weighs approx 125 lbs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
