About who needs care: My mum has a blood cancer and needs transfusions every couple of weeks, but other than the transfusions, she is doing well - no specific issues. She is friendly, loves puzzles & visiting with her doctors/nurses & family. Our needs for her are mostly for part-time company or possibly overnight so that she won't be alone if we need to be away. About the care needs: An easy going personality would work well with my mum; too much energy can be overwhelming. She tends to her own routine, but needs assistance with the microwave for her dinner. She has a walker with a seat, but would need an arm to hang onto to walk up our walkway to get into a vehicle. No special skills needed, but being observant and aware if her normal routine changes. (EX: too sleepy, not eating or drinking, dizzy) Hope they like jigsaw puzzles or running out. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
