About who needs care: We live at Wake Robin. My husband has a form of Alzheimer's called Posterior Cortical Deterioration and it affects his eyesight and causes dizziness and lack of executive function. He also has prostate cancer which has metastasized but is being treated successfully. A third problem is arthritis in his spine. I would like to participate in activities here at Wake Robin, but I am afraid to leave him alone. About the care needs: My husband likes to watch CNN on TV and sports. I would like a caregiver who could walk with him, read to him, listen to music with him and just be a friendly companion. I like to swim 3 mornings a week, plus I like to do gardening and trail work. Times would vary, but would mostly be mornings or afternoons.
