About who needs care: Mom has had multiple sclerosis for 30 years, her mobility is limited to a scooter. She would love some companionship, showers in the days of caregiving, and time to spend doing things she cannot do alone and needs assistance with. About the care needs: Mom is an outgoing, gregarious person who currently relies on her husband for full care during the day: dressing, feeding, transportation and activities. They need a break and a caring person to help mom regain autonomy, independence, self-care and to give my dad some time to himself to relax :) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
