About who needs care: In need of a full time aide to provide personal and respite services to my 23-year-old son has CP in the home. My son has intellectual and physical limitations. Pay rate is 13. 34 an hour and cannot be adjusted due to set rate provided by Medicaid. Full time employees will qualify for sick leave only. Requirements include assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, transporting to community activities and medical appointments. Must pass a criminal background check and have reliable transportation. Must be 18 years old and over to apply. Must have compassion, patience, basic reading/writing skills, basic math, and pay attention to detail. Hours needed are M-F 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sa-Sun: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
