We need hands-on care for my mother-in-law in Va Beach (Kempsville). She's 84-years old and recently started having mobility issues. Her overall health is stable, but she is growing frail. Cognitively, she's doing well, but sometimes forgets to take her medicine, so experience with medical monitoring is required. She's lived independently, until last February, when degenerative bone loss in her spine began decreasing her mobility. We'd like to find a caregiver who can check on her, in her home, most mornings and evenings, to help her to the bathroom, to her dayroom (mornings), and back to her bedroom (evenings). She family and companion care visiting during the day. We would appreciate light housekeeping and light meal prep. We're flexible on the hours, if the caregiver prefers longer shifts (4 hours), or fewer days.
