Seeking mostly companion care near Salem for my father in his 80s. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. Hoping to find someone 2-3 days a week for a couple of hours/day. Days/times flexible. My dad was healthy until about 2 months ago. Went to the hospital for his heart. Now he has fractured his knee and can't walk. Minor dementia. Hoping to find someone to cheer up my dad, maybe help with bathing, to encourage him to walk (once he is able to again), and give my mom a break. Also, someone to bring a little positive energy into the home. Someone to do things with him (all he does now is watch TV). Someone to motivate and stimulate his mind.
