About who needs care: My dad has balance issues from diabetes. He does not get out a lot but has doctor's appointments, PT appointments, and wants to join Silver Sneakers at the gym. He loves his dog. He gets up around 8 and takes care of his dog. He watches tv. He goes to appointments but can be late when he takes himself. He like Westerns, old movies and sports. About the care needs: Kind, caring and understanding. Encouraging to a senior who is grappling with loss of strength, skills and independence. Strong enough personality to get him moving to get to appointments on time. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
