We are looking for a hands-on, loving, and good natured caregiver to work in our home in Brandermill (Midlothian) helping us care for our 23-year-old son. Our son suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident and is a quadriplegic and non-verbal. He is loving and engaged. Duties include: regularly repositioning and weight shifts, working with a Hoyer Lift and wheelchair, cleaning and bathing, mouth care and some light housework. We will train. Companionship duties include: reading to Matt, listening to music, sitting on the porch and playing with various toys. Ideally this is a full time position Monday through Friday, but we will consider two part time positions to cover the same time.
