I need a care provider with experience with ALS patients. I need someone that is confident in taking care of a tracheostomy & patient on a ventilator. Our care concerns are: Able to do PEG feedings & give medications through it. Medication Prompting, Light Housekeeping, Mobility Assistance, Bathing / Dressing, Feeding, Heavy Lifting (use of Hoyer lift), Accompanying to Dr. Appointments in power W/C. Help is needed with bathing/ hygiene. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction.
