About who needs care: two TIA's, two broken hips. Very stubborn, but kind and generous. She broke her hips because she is stubborn. She is going to rehab now. She will need assistance with ADLs for a couple months, and monitoring to make sure she is taking her meds as directed. Her thinking is fine, but she gets confused more often after the two TIAs. Not sure how to structure the day. About the care needs: She has friendly pets and some cows. She's a churchgoer. She is a retired band director, music educator and pretty intelligent. I don't think you would need any highly specialized skills. I need to make sure she is eating, taking her meds, getting a bath or shower at least every other day, that she isn't incontinent (she is continent of bowel and bladder now). Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
