I'm looking for hands-on care for my 95-year-old mother. She is mentally with it, but needs reminding to take meds, drink water, and eat lunch (we will have everything prepared). She needs assistance using the toilet as she is a definite fall risk and cannot clean herself well. She uses an O2 concentrator, but is fine without it for short periods of time. We have a very friendly large dog, and two cats (one of which is NOT friendly and will be locked in a bedroom while we are away). She may do some needlework or reading/watching TV, but spends quite a bit of time just dozing. She is easy to get along with, but we do not feel comfortable leaving her alone for any length of time.
