*** Please read & check hrs 1st *** Looking for a patient and compassionate caregiver to take care of my father weekends and/or overnights. Nursing/medical experience a PLUS, but not mandatory. He has diabetes (uses an insulin pump), Parkinson's and advanced cognitive issues. He needs an experienced & encouraging caregiver to engage him in physical and mental activities: help him get dressed/ get started each day, talk with him, take him to appts and haircuts, have lunch with him, and help him do his exercises at home. Overnight/Live-in "on-call" help needed as well as weekend help: preparing meals, doing laundry, and running errands so we ask that you have a reliable car & valid driver's license. Will reimburse for mileage. Preferences for a self-starter caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with cats and CPR / first-aid trained.
