Our daughter is getting married in Nashville on June 8. We are from California. My husband has secondary progressive MS and is a quadriplegic. Cognitively he is very smart but has trouble speaking/uses an eye-tracking speech device. We need a hands-on person to take care of him before and during the wedding (June 7-9) so that he is not ignored during the festivities and it allows me to focus on our daughter. The care giver will attend all functions including the welcome dinner and an evening wedding. He/she will help feed him, help get him ready, help steer his motorized wheelchair, possibly catheterize, etc. TBD. Non-smoker, ideally an RN. I'm his primary caregiver and can train you. We are a big, fun family and whoever we hire will be treated as family while focusing on caring for my husband.
