I am looking for someone who genuinely has a heart for the elderly. Someone who is patient, kind, gentle, and compassionate, to care for my 89-year-old mother who has late-stage Alzheimer's. Mom came home on hospice this past winter when memory care could no longer safely care for her. The job requires a lot of sitting, some lifting, and one on one interaction. Mom is now chair / bed bound, and is total care. We need someone who is strong, and can lift her, and pivot transfer from bed to chair. She resists at times. She weighs around 130 - 140 range. We also need someone who doesn't mind help and / or direction from myself and will treat my mom like they would treat their own grandmother / mother. I am looking specifically for someone to work PRN... Evenings, special events, and to cover day time sick calls, if possible. Thank you!
