My sister and I care for our mother who has advanced dementia, full time. We need respite care for ourselves and someone to watch mom while we go run errands and have some time away from the house. We don't need meals cooked, meds given, house cleaned. We primarily need someone to watch her at home and keep her safe while we are out of the house. Mom loves music and musical therapy helps her mood immensely. The schedule would be during the week from 1-6; but times may vary slightly. Also on Sunday for a few hours, so we can attend church. She loves listening to music, folding clothes and having her little dog sit next to her on the couch. Mom has always been a kind hearted person and her dementia hasn't changed her overall personality.
