Hi, my parents live in Sun City in Bluffton; Ed is 91 and Myra is 86. They are living independently, but could use some help with day to day things such as, errands, doctors appointments, a little meal prep, laundry, changing bed linens and occasional household tasks. They have someone come into the home to clean regularly. My mom broke her arm last weekend and is having surgery this Monday, so more care is probably needed for her in the upcoming weeks. Ed has some medical issues and requires some medical assistance, but nothing very hands on. Both of them are pretty "with it", they actual still drive, but we are discouraging that.
