My father broke his neck in Feb and is finishing up spinal cord rehab in mid-May and will be moving back home with my mom. We aren't totally sure what type of support we will need at this point but at the moment the big things I can think of would be help moving with Hoyer lift, feeding, straight. My mom was an ER nurse and will be doing all of this on a daily basis but I'm hoping to find some supplemental help for her to lighten her burden. If this sounds interesting, let's start a convoy and I can facilitate an introduction with my mother.
