My daughter, 37 years old is a 2-time brain tumor survivor since the age of 4. We are looking for 24 hrs. a week of care. She has the Home and Community Waiver through agency. She is looking for someone ages 30-55. The person needs to be kind, pleasant, have a vibrant personality, be compassionate and patient. She likes to bake, do scrap booking, reading and spend time outside. She participates in therapeutic horseback riding for 10 weeks in the spring and fall. Services needed include: transportation to physical therapy 2x per week, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, support while bathing and mobility assistance. She utilizes a walker with 20 lb weights at home and at PT. When we go in the community for shopping or a meal, she utilizes a motorized scooter or wheelchair.
