About who needs care: Client has dementia. Client ambulates independently w/ a rollater or walker. Client is very sedentary. Sits most of the day. Client requires assistance with all activities of daily living to include but not limited to: Companionship Ensuring safety Toilet assistance Bathing Dressing Cooking and serving meals Medicine administration Light cleaning & laundering About the care needs: Seeking a reliable, professional, compassionate team player w/ minimum 3 years elder care experience. Ability to initiate and encourage "small talk" w/ the client. Enjoy simple chit chat and laughing at client's word play and pun style jokes again and again. Clear verbal and written communication (English) Ability to read and write documented events Flexible with scheduling to help cover other shifts as needed Reliable transportation is a must Reliable phone, reachability and the ability to effectively communicate via text and phone call w/ crew and family Willingness to go above and beyond Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
