We need hands-on care to take care of my father in Beaverton. Some help needed with bathing. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with 2 indoor/outdoor cats.. He is rough in the mornings and needs the most help then. He gets confused on doing simple things like walking with his stroller or taking his meds. (I will dispense the meds). He gets his wits about him as the morning progresses and is typically rational by Noon. I work from home and have been caring for him but as the dementia progresses I find it is taking more and more of me and I'm not able to do everything all the time.
