Husband is present for meal prep and housekeeping, but appreciates someone taking initiative to help out. Primarily, he needs someone to assist wife with transfers to walker, etc, and to help her with bathing, dressing, and toileting. Additional care needs include: Medication Prompting, transfers in and out of vehicles, and prompting to perform physical therapy exercises. Client has Parkinson's and mild cognitive and memory impairment. Husband needs to be able to run errands and go to medical appointments and know that his wife is safe and cared for. Ideally this would be a position shared by two individuals, each working 3 days one week and 4 days the next, who collaborate and cover for one another as needed.
