I'm looking for companion care for my 81-year-old mother, who has dementia, during times that I am not able to be with her. You would just sit and watch Lifetime/Hallmark movies, maybe go for walks, maybe serve her lunch or dinner that's already prepared, and guiding her while she takes a shower. She wears a colostomy bag, but I take care of her colostomy bag. There might be a rare random time that you may have to switch out her bag but the process is easy. Secondly, I would like to find someone that would be available to stay with her a few nights when I have to travel - able to stay all day and night. You would have your own bedroom, bathroom, and private space. And to add to the mix - the person must be okay with dogs - I have a sweet and funny 2 yr old smaller Great Dane.
