About needs: Caregiver personality should be fun & outgoing & also an ability to read the room when in appts. Willingness to learn about health conditions, drive him to appointments, sit in on appts and be able to be an advocate during the appt., being able to communicate appt back to patient if needed, & also his 2 daughters. Being okay with calling patient out on things when necessary. Emotional intelligence, empathy skills, and communication skills are key.
