About who needs care: My mom suffers from mental illness as well as some physical conditions that are affecting memory, mobility, and quality of life in general. She loves to walk when she's not in pain and knitting. I would like to see a set schedule where she wakes up eats and takes her medicine and then does something to get active and anything else she wants to do in a day. About the care needs: We need someone with thick skin who understands that bad days can get very ugly with her attitude and things she may say. I know she would prefer a female caregiver as she is very shy and private. An upbeat person who is going to encourage her to be better do better and want better. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
