About who needs care: Obesity, lymphedema, severely arthritic knees in need of total joint replacement, spinal stenosis, incontinent, bed ridden. She is a former RN and is very intelligent. She needs to be turned and have her bedding changed twice a day. My plan is to change her bedding at bedtime, and since she is not a morning person having someone change her bedding and clean her up around 11 a.m. would be a good schedule. Serving her lunch would be helpful. Help with laundry and cleaning as necessary would be nice. I can get her breakfast and dinner. I am planning on hiring a lymphedema specialist who will do at home therapy. About the care needs: Strong personality, but also kind, patient and a good sense of humor, quick witted. Need to be strong enough to roll her onto her side to change her bedding and clean her. A person who likes animals. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
