I'm looking to hire a companion for a household with two elderly people: my 70-year-old father with dementia, who is still verbal and able to perform all ADLs with prompts, and his 94-year-old mother (does NOT have dementia but has fairly limited mobility). The right candidate is warm, friendly, compassionate, and willing/able to perform the following tasks: medication prompting for my father, grooming prompting for my father (encouragement to take a shower, brush teeth, shave and select from two clean outfits), light housekeeping (things like vacuuming, wiping down counters, throwing garbage, etc.), meal prep (dinners will be cooked in advance so that they merely need to be heated up), errands like picking up milk or a prescription, and help with social activities for my father.
