We need once (maybe twice) a week hand's on care for my father who has advanced Alzheimer's. He is living with his son and daughter in law who are his full time caregivers. We are seeking 5 or so hours a week specifically helping to bath him, shave him and tend to his hands and feet. He sleeps 16 hours a day and needs help ambulating, in the bathroom and eating. He can feed himself with sandwiches and finger foods. Utensils are hit and miss. We are looking for someone who can come once per week 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. Which day that is is flexible although I put Monday on the listing. Looking for someone who has cared for an Alzheimer's patient before, is compassionate and also tough skinned because he can be difficult to bathe. Reliable, good with dogs (there are two in the home) and be able to provide references. Thank you!
