My father is 85 years old and recently broke his hip in a fall. He had hip replacement surgery and is gradually regaining his mobility. My stepmother is 72 years old and has some health issues that make supporting my father difficult. We recently have set up a care/support person for Mondays thru Fridays. We are looking for someone who can support on weekends. Neither of my parents require medical care. My father may need some personal care, such as help showering. My father needs some mobility assistance -- help getting up and down the stairs, for example. Both my father and stepmother welcome some assistance around the house, and help driving places. The amount of time needed on Saturdays and Sundays is not totally clear. We are thinking 4-6 hours each day.
