We need hands-on care for my father. Requires constant accompaniment when walking using gait belt or walker. Familiarity with Parkinson's or desire to learn about this is very helpful. Help needed with bathing and toileting, and general adls. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction with both patient and his spouse. Must be comfortable overseeing PT, OT and speech exercises daily. Part of your responsibilities will include transporting to barber shop, senior center nearby, walking in garden and neighborhood. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments when needed. Non-smoker only. Ideal for a nursing or other type of health care student. Preference for active HHA or CNA license and pay is $15-25 depending on experience and recent references.
