We need hands-on care to take care of my parents in Merrick. One parent is oxygen dependent 24/7. Caregiver must be responsible and able to keep Mom on track with her breathing treatments. Experience with oxygen dependent patients preferred, but eager willingness to learn and gain experience considered. Medication management is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Looking to fill overnight shift 3-4 nights per week. 10pm-10 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays required.
