About who needs care: Occasional help for a dad whos a pretty independent 90yr old. Has some breathing and energy challenges and some anxiety / occasional low moods, some vision and hearing challenges. Good person. Interested in playing a little bit of instruments when has energy... piano, saxophone, guitar, interested in cowboy movies, documentaries, war movies, music of the 40s-70s mostly. Interested in positive thinking, meditation, prayers/ faith. Interested in cars. Enjoys being outside in garden and doing some yard and some handyman work if he has energy for it. Used to drive so misses that. Used to go to park. About the care needs: A pleasant, patient, positive, soft spoken, friendly, probably female, who does not wear any perfume or hair or skin fragrances and no smoking. Someone who allows his independence. Someone with a good sense of humor. Someone whos punctual and interested in doing their work and smiles. Good if they know how to help him with the smart phone and smart TV and searching info for him and / or maybe being a virtual assistant sometimes. This is for occasional hire... maybe half a day, twice a month or when needed to help with doing last minute phone calls for dad and family. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
