About who needs care: My father, Douglas L., has to get around using a walker. He is fairly mobile but needs reminders to take medication and might need some basic errands run for him, meal prep, as well as getting to medical appointments. He is diabetic and also has a number of other medications that he takes for various issues that he is dealing with. Ideally someone would check in with him in the morning and in the late afternoon to make sure that he is OK while my mother is away for two weeks. About the care needs: He is generally quite amiable, but can get moody and grouchy at times. Sometimes he gets a little disoriented. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
