About who needs care: My father is 90 years old and has Alzheimer's. He can walk, but must have assistance walking and constant oversight. He needs help with all ADLs, including toileting and help eating. He's friendly, but often grumpy. He's chatty, but sometimes can't think of the right word for things. He loves listening to 60s soul music and watching classic TV sitcoms. He generally wakes up at 630a, has breakfast, watches TV, may sit on the porch if it's not too hot. Lunch is around 12p. Supper is around 5p. Bedtime is around 830p. About the care needs: We need someone with experience caring for Alzheimer's patients. Must be honest, patient, have a sense of humor, be punctual, able to adapt to his moods and dependable. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
