We are seeking in-home care support in mornings and/or evenings and occasional weekends for my mother in her 70s with Alzheimer's. Medication reminders/management is required, including insulin. Some light tidying up is involved. The ideal candidate has a great sense of humor, is patient, is able to help preserve dignity and hygiene by assisting with showering (mostly supervision to ensure safety), dressing, toothbrushing, and addressing occasional incontinence. Some meal prep, and willingness/ability to support physical activity and daytime social activities. The schedule is undetermined; we are hoping to find an individual/individuals who can work with us to help provide care/supervision during hours when agency-based in-home health care providers are not scheduled.
