About who needs care: Suffers from heart failure. Hospice care in place. Need assistance holding hand to prevent scratching due to constant itch (has sores on both arms requiring dressing changes) I no longer can watch him 24/7 and keep up with all the household chores. Sometimes still able to walk while other times must use wheelchair. Very little verbal communication at this time. About the care needs: Caregiver must stay awake, be well rested and patient to prevent scratching/injury to arms. Kindness, compassion being sought after as my Father's time is limited but he remains strong. Currently holding right hand/arm allows for no further injury so will sit next to my Father. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
