Hi there. My name is Matt. I appreciate your interest in my listing. Let me tell you a little about myself and what I'm looking for in a caregiver. First, I am 43 years old. I suffered a spinal cord injury in a diving accident when I was 18. This resulted in the loss of all movement and sensation everywhere below my armpits, as well as most of my arms and hands. Over the past 26 years I have learned to live as independently as possible with the abilities I have. However I still require assistance when it comes to the essential necessities of getting up and ready for the day. This includes assistance with: light stretching, transferring in and out of my bed or wheelchair, suppository/bowel routine, showering, getting dressed, and cooking/eating lunch. I have all the necessary equipment to make this routine as easy as possible. I am looking to fill weekend hours, 4 hrs. a day, preferably from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (give or take a 1/2 hour), at a rate of $18/hr.
