About who needs care: My mom has had Multiple Sclerosis for the last 13 years and its beginning to progress in a way where she needs an assistance here and there, especially with her legs giving out more. She is mostly wheelchair bound, but is still pretty capable of getting around and caring for herself. About the care needs: Someone who is light hearted and fun, but can also have heart to heart conversations. Someone who will empower her to be independent but also kindly provide support when needed and not degrade her or her lack of ability. Some one who enjoys music, reading, cooking, shopping, animals, is family oriented and flexible. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
