I'm looking for live-in home care for my father-in-law in his early 80s. Assistance with medication, prompting with grooming tasks, and direction when disoriented is needed. We would love someone who loves to walk and maybe bicycle, as my father-in-law is still very, very physically active. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping and preparing meals (along with going out for meals and definitely ice cream). Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets (just visiting ones--we don't have any) and CPR / first-aid trained.
