About who needs care: My husband has moderate dementia. I do not want him alone when I leave the house. He is kind and quiet and does not recognize his dementia. I would bring someone in saying I need help with light house keeping. The person would need to offer to make him tea or a snack, be able to answer the same question more than once. About the care needs: I would leave conversation tips, what questions to ask to get him to talk, help him pass the time. I work from home as well as in Grand Rapids at times. Will need to be a relaxed personality as the questions can be tiresome. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
