About who needs care: My Dad has advanced dementia. He is NOT combative and my Mom is his primary caregiver. However, she is 82yo and is very tired. My Dad is incontinent through the night and wears Depends with a pad in the front, but usually wakes up in the morning wet and/or has messed. My Mom needs help with his bed-changing, cleaning him up and laundry. She would also welcome someone to sit with him for an hour or two perhaps one (1) day/week for her to run errands. About the care needs: Both my elderly parents are very kind and friendly. They would need someone with welcoming personality and willingness to listen. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
