My 85-yo father has experienced a steep health decline in the past month, with both urological and GI issues for which we are starting the journey of diagnosis and treatment. He also has dementia, with loss of short-term memory and no longer driving. While he lives with my mother, she is hard of hearing and they both are increasingly finding it difficult to walk up and down stairs in their townhouse.
