Caretaker For My Father Hello, My Father is 76 years old and was diagnosed with Parkinson's 3 years ago. Although he is not to the point where he has shakes, he has had two falls which resulted in a broken hip. Since the most recent broken hip, he has been using a walker and his strength has been way down. My Mother, Sara currently lives with him in a very nice house in Newton, but it is too much for her to do on her own. My Father, Ray is a pleasant man, who has been successful in real estate, has written 3 novels, coached his children in soccer while growing up. Ray is pleasant to be around and is at times too proud to ask for help, but the family thinks it would benefit everyone. He is not an angry or bitter old man, rather a calm guy who needs help cleaning, cooking, going on short walks, and at times helping getting off the couch.
