About who needs care: Adult woman (29 years old) with mild intellectual disability and high-functioning autism - needs assistance approx. 2-3 hours on Mondays with home management/home care, medication management, occasional transportation for errands, time management, nutrition/exercise management. Additional hours on occasion to fill in for other caretaker. Could grow into more regular hours in the future. About the care needs: Patient, positive, warm, engaging, reliable. Personality more important than any special skills. Interest in health/fitness a plus, especially with respect to diet and exercise. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
