We are looking for a thoughtful, caring individual to care for our father Tony. He is a 75-year-old male with Parkinson's who is full of hilariousness and kindness. He loves to watch TV, talk, tell stories, and share a cup of coffee with others. He needs help with rising from a chair, daily hygiene (showering, shaving), and using the bathroom. My mother currently cares for him along with a caretaker who comes in the morning, but we need an additional individual to come the afternoon to evenings. While we are very flexible, we also need someone who is reliable, timely, and consistent. Caregiver should have experience with Parkinson's/dementia, competency to help perform basic stretches and assist with lifting, showering, visits to the bathroom, etc. Free parking. No public transit nearby. Must have your own car. No pets!
