I have a rather unique need for someone located close to Needham. I would like to keep my mother out of assisted-living if possible. Sometimes she has emergency needs at a time when her regular aide is not there. Within reason, this person would be available to help my mother in a one-off capacity for small assists. For example, she has an accident in the evening and can't sit in a wet depends overnight, or she is cold and can't get to a blanket, or has some small but emergent need. Could you be that local friend that she calls for help? 50 an hour -or part of an hour- with the expectation that the need will only take an hour or less.
