About who needs care: My father had a malignant brain tumor removed in August of 2023. He is 89 years old , has completed all treatment and currently his scan is stable. He has some short term memory issues from the radiation. He is more tired than before this but still works in his yard, attends church, we walk every day. I have been living here since last Aug. I am hoping to be able to go home for awhile although I would probably come back a weekend or 2 a month as long as he is doing well. Meals and light housekeeping is what he needs . He can bathe and dress himself. He has been diagnosed with macular degeneration so he can not drive. About the care needs: Someone who is good with elderly people. My dad is a widower my mother passed 3 yrs ago. Just some companionship and meals made would be important. The person needs to be a non smoker. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
