Seeking mealtime companion care near Prairie Village for myself and husband in our 50s. He will be recovering from a knee replacement, and I am disabled due to severe arthritis. Neither of us will be able to stand or carry things, so that's where we really need help. Assistance with medication is needed. Please be willing to do light housekeeping (loading/unloading dishwasher, running vacuum, etc.). Additional responsibilities include simple meal preparation (bowl of cereal or microwave meals). Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Part of your responsibilities will include running occasional errands to the pharmacy. Must be a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with cats. Absolutely NO cat housekeeping required -- someone else is coming in to tend to their needs.
