About who needs care: I have a spinal cord injury, have been using a manual wheelchair for 50 years. Live independently with my wife, who is also a wheelchair user. I strained my wrist and transfer to the toilet is very painful so I'm looking for someone who can be here when I transfer to the toilet once a day and possibly assist to make sure I don't fall. I'm strong in my upper body but the wrist is creating difficulty because I have to continue using it while recovering. I can transfer to and from the bed ok. About the care needs: Experience assisting a wheelchair user with transfers. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
